Kelsey Picard

Kelsey describes herself as a crazy plant lady, being obsessed with plants in every way, so it only makes sense that she has chosen a career in plant science. Interested in plant reproduction, her research focuses on the control of the flowering phase in pea, and the potential that has for increasing yield. Kelsey fills her spare time with various science communication activities, including co-hosting the That's What I Call Science podcast, co-founding Beerable Science, as well as outreach with Young Tassie Scientists.
